Russian plane crashes in Egypt, 224 passengers are feared dead

A Russian plane 7K926 carrying 217 passengers and seven crew onboard from Sharm el-Sheikh crashed. Russia’s aviation authority, informed that the flight had left at 03:51 GMT and was due into St Petersburg’s airport at 12:10 but the plane had failed to make scheduled contact with Cyprus air traffic control and disappeared from the radar.
