In the modern day world, women have learnt to walk equally like men and there is no doubt as they are excelling in different fields. Around 6 naval women officers made history when they took the voyage for 60 days.
The Indian Navy’s yacht named INSV Mhadei returned after completing a historic voyage of 2,100 nautical miles. The vessel was handed over to the Indian Navy in February 2009 and christened INSV Mhadei, after the Mandovi River.
The crew comprised of Lt P Swathi, Lt B Aishwarya, Lt Pratibha Jamwal, Lt Vijaya and Lt Payal Gupta who took the challenge to complete the voyage under heavy weather.
