Over 150 Indians brought home from war-torn South Sudan

Operation Sankat Mochan ended at 5 am on Friday when the special Indian Air Force C-17 plane touched down Thiruvantapuram international airport carrying 156 Indians evacuated from South Sudan. According to Minister of State for External Affairs VK Singh, who led the operation successfully, more than 500 Indians have been evacuated while over 300 Indians have decided to continue staying there due to their business interests.
