Salman Khan acquitted in blackbuck poaching case

Good days are here for Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The Rajasthan High Court on Monday acquitted Salman in 1998 blackbuck and chinkara poaching cases. The news comes in as a huge relief for Sultan actor as the Rajasthan high court was hearing Khan’s appeal against a lower court verdict that handed him one and five years’ imprisonment in two separate cases.

Bollywood actor has reportedly been given the benefit of doubt. Salman Khan was allegedly involved in poaching of two blackbucks near Jodhpur in the intervening night of October, 1998. Khan was in Jodhpur for the shooting of movie Hum Saath Saath Hain when the incident occurred.
