Mehbooba Mufti fails to handle separatists spreading tension across J&K

VO:1 Clashes had broken out between protesters and security forces after Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani and his two associates were killed in an encounter with security forces on July 8. Since then the region is trying to return back to normalcy. Curfew and other restrictions continues in Kashmir as authorities on Monday today had stepped up security in view of a march called by separatists to Anantnag district. In an exclusive conversation with Newzstreet political analyst Sushil Pandit blamed Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti Sayeed as inexperienced and inefficient in handling the crisis.

VO:2 Separatist groups, which are protesting across the valley, had called for a march to Anantnag on Monday today. More than 15 persons have died in Anantnag district alone during the unrest. Curfew is in place in Anantnag, Baramulla, Kulgam, Pulwama and Shopian districts. The separatists have extended the strike call till July 29 with a call to march to Kulgam district on Wednesday.
