Air India plans big ramp up, to hire 500 more pilots

After Prime Minister Office nudged Air India for its unimpressive performance its top management has swung into action. The Air India has announced its plan to recruit around 500 pilots and more than 1,500 cabin crew over the next two to three years to ramp up the dwindling fortunes of the company.

Air India is planning to expand its fleet to another 100 aircraft in the next four years. Hence, the company will require a total strength of 700 pilots and 3000 cabin crew over a period of next three years.
