MP Anurag Thakur now a Lieutenant in the Territorial Army

BCCI chief and BJP MP Anurag Thakur has joined the Territorial Army as Lieutenant on Friday morning.
Thakur is attached to the Sikh regiment and will undergo a month-long rigorous training with the regiment in between the parliamentary sessions and his duties as the BCCI chief.
He made it to the Territorial army after clearing out an exam and a personal interview in Chandigarh.
Anurag took to twitter to inform the news and expressed his feelings saying that like his grandfather, it was his childhood dream to serve the country in uniform.
