Judgeent comes in in Jigisha Ghosh murder case after seven long years. A Delhi court has pronounced verdict on the quantum of punishment to three convicts in Jigisha Ghosh murder case. Court has awarded death sentence to Ravi Kapoor, Amit Shukla and life term to Baljit Singh Malik. The three convicts abducted 28-year-old Jigisha, an operations manager with Hewitt Associate Pvt Ltd at its Noida office, ‎after the office car dropped her around 4am near her Delhi home and robbed her of her gold jewellery, two mobile phones, and debit and credit cards on March 18, 2009. Her body was found near Surajkund in Haryana, about 20km from her Vasant Vihar home. While convicting them on July 14, the judge had said “they committed her murder and disposed of her body in bushes and circumstantial evidence makes it clear that it was these men who committed the crime.” The police had filed the chargesheet in the case in June 2009 and trial began on April 15, 2010.
