US Secretary of State John Kerry who has arrived in Kenya will be holding talks with leaders of the East African nation focusing on regional security and extremism. Both the statesmen will be discussing specific issues including stabilising northern neighbour South Sudan, which is dealing with a recent upheaval, and developments in Somalia and Burundi. Somalia will be facing parliamentary elections next month and a presidential election in October. Burundi has been in turmoil since President Pierre Nkurunziza won a third term that many consider unconstitutional. Kerry was received by Foreign Affairs Minister Amina Mohamed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
