An MoU has been signed between Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd and app-based aggregator Ola, to train 40,000 drivers and provide cars at cheaper prices and attractive financing cost. While this tie-up is bound to help Ola expand its fleet faster to take on global rival Uber, this will also help the automaker push its vehicle sales. Mahindra aims to clock about $400 million sales through this partnership. Mahindra and Ola making it the first-of-its-kind deal in India will also explore other areas of joint collaboration, to build the next generation of mobility solutions including those for unique transportation.
