Bengaluru has been under calm since Monday night and there has not been reported any untoward incident so far. A day after violence and arson on the streets of Karnataka’s Bengaluru, parts of the IT hub are still under curfew. Protests over the state being asked to share Cauvery river waters with neighbor Tamil Nadu escalated on Monday after a Supreme Court ruling.
In tweets this morning, the police warned people against rumours. “Please do not blindly believe in messages circulating on WhatsApp,” said one tweet. “Bengaluru situation is totally calm, strict action will be taken against vandals/miscreants,” said another.
