BSE Sensex has been trading lower by 158.90 points, or 0.55%, to 28,510.16, while the Nifty falls 45.60 points, or 0.52%, to 8,785.95 on Monday trade. Shares of India’s largest private enterprise Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) on Monday hit over a seven-year high on the back of higher volumes. The stock gained in 10 out of 14 trading sessions. Reliance Industries Ltd rises 2.06% to Rs.1,125.70. ICICI Bank, Adani Ports, Tata Motors, HDFC, ITC, Infosys, NTPC, Asian Paints, Axis Bank, Cipla and SBI saw selling pressure, which dragged down the indices. The Indian rupee has weakened against the US dollar at 66.77 per dollar, down 0.17% from its previous close of 66.66.
