Typhoon Megi: 6 dead, 23 missing in landslides

Typhoon Megi has been causing some serious damage, firstly in Taiwan and then in China, at least six people are reported dead and 23 people are still missing. The typhoon triggered two landslides which swept through separate villages in south-eastern China.

The landslides in Zhejiang province, south of Shanghai, has confirmed that each killed three people, while authorities in the village of Sucun said that more than 20 people are still missing.

Typhoon Megi brought torrential rains and strong winds into parts of south-eastern China and Taiwan, destroying hundreds of houses and shutting down airports and railways.
