Indian Air Force celebrates 84th anniversary with grandeur

The Indian Air Force has marked its 84th anniversary with grandeur as the celebrations began at the Hindon air base in Ghaziabad with a large parade and an air display. The air display commenced with a flag bearing sky divers of famous AKASH GANGA team dropping out of AN-32 aircraft in their colourful canopies. The flypast included the vintage aircraft, modern transport aircraft and frontline fighter aircraft. The commemorative annual Air Show witnessed the Indian Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, the Indian Army Chief Dalbir Singh, former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar among others.
The ceremony will conclude with a scintillating aerobatic display.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee greeted the Indian Air Force on the 84th foundation day.
