In March 2010, Park Ji-sung scored the winner at Old Trafford as Manchester United beat bitter rivals Liverpool 2-1.
Fast forward over six years, and the 35 year old is still playing his part but now for University’s Sports Management team.
The South Korean legend retired in 2014 with over 100 caps for his country is back in England to study a post-graduate degree at University. Ji-sung is pursuing Management, Law and Humanities of Sports MA in Leicester.
Football fans, particularly United supporters will fondly remember his time at Old Trafford, as he made over 200 appearances in a seven- year stint winning both Champions League and Premier League.
Park captained and played an important role in South Korea’s fairy-tale run at the 2002 World Cup.
