Dense fog in north India affects train, flight services

Entire north India is under severe spell of cold with chilling winds blowing. Some north Indian states including Delhi have experienced first rainfall in the winter. Minimum temperature was recorded at 13.5 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season’s average. Entire north Indian belt is under the grip of heavy fog. Over 70 trains are running beyond their scheduled time and 16 trains have been rescheduled while a few of them stands canceled. The weather office forecast said the sky would be generally cloudy and the maximum temperature is likely to be around 21 degrees Celsius. Many international flights have been delayed at Delhi’s IGI Airport, one stands canceled. According to Met Office the conditions will remain like this for sometime.
