The much awaited battle between arch rivals India and Pakistan does not seem to be far away as the BCCI has taken a positive move towards it. The Indian cricket board has seeked the Indian Government’s permission so as to honour India’s commitment to play six bilateral series against the arch-rivals as per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in 2014.
Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Shaharyar Khan has said that they are also ready to Play India once the BCCI gets approval from the Indian government. The two teams in recent times have only faced each other at ICC events and Asia Cup games
