Alok Verma

Alok is CEO and Editor-in-Chief of NYOOOZ. Earlier, Alok successfully steered Triveni Group’s entry into broadcast media under the brand name ‘Voice of India’ in record 10 months in May 2008. He led a team of 300 broadcast professionals.

Prior to Triveni he worked with India’s no 1 news network TV Today Network as Executive Producer for long five years. During his various role within the organization as part of the news management group he handled News Operations and also worked for the launch of the English language channel the Headlines Today. He led the TVTN in scaling up the news operations of Aaj Tak by successfully building responsive functions and setting up efficient processes by combining technology and human skills. As Executive Producer Special Projects in the year 2005 he launched speed news channel ‘Tez’ and metro channel “Delhi Aaj Tak”. He also designed and launched TV Today Media Institute (TVTMI)..

Alok played a key role in Star TV’s New Media, Convergence & Internet strategy as Editor, News & Current Affairs and successfully planned 14 news and current affairs channels on the Interactive TV platform.

He began his television news career in the year 1995 with India’s first broadcast station Zee Network as the Editor for Zee News, the first news bulletin in the private broadcasting domain. During his Editorship, Zee News became the first 24-hour News Channel in 1998.

Ashish Tiwari

Ashish Tiwari is a young and dynamic journalist having a work experience of more than 7 years in electronic media and new media. He has a great passion for news. He is a fast learner with a nose for news and understanding of the subject. He also has good programming, production and technical skills which make him a complete broadcaster. A Post graduate in Mass Communication he has worked with some of the India’s leading news channels and government organizations including Press Information Bureau. Presently, Ashish is working with one of the India’s leading digital news agency. According to him this is the age of new media and he feels great to be the part of this new and powerful medium. Ashish is highly committed towards his work and is goal oriented.

Pallab Ghosh

Pallab Ghosh is a journalist with an experience of 18 years. He began his career with The Statesman. New Delhi.  Having a background in Fashion Designing he had the privilege of introducing fashion column ‘Trendz’ for Section-II which also featured his sketches and predictions. He has worked with The Sun as reporter.  Having a keen interest in City news he worked as correspondent with ‘Plus’ section of  The Times of India, The Metro East and has covered crime, education, administration, health and civic amenities, markets, entertainment and life style.  He has also covered RWAs and Bhagidari meetings. Pallab has worked as Fashion Editor with Brand Fashion and extensively covered fashion and life style. Pallab had an opportunity to associate with Ahimsaa Channel, a part of the ATN International Ltd, Kolkata as an anchor and script writer for their pilot documentary film ‘Gandhi’. Apart from that he has worked as journalist and coordinator with Pravasi Film Festival 2010 (a short stint). He has worked as senior correspondent with B2B magazine Travel Biz Monitor/portal and covered state tourism boards and ministry and associations. He has worked with a reputed video news agency, with the National Bureau. He has also managed news feeds in English, Hindi and Bengali for mobile news alerts. Keeping pace with the development and technology, he regards New Media or Digital Media an ultimate platform. He has also worked as content writer with a SEO. Pallab is an avid user on social media platforms like facebook and twitter. He feels that in the present day scenario, social media is the best platform for churning public opinion.
